Mr. Jacobs is a member of the Firm. Mr. Jacobs served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey from 1972-1976, and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 1983-1985, where he was Chief of Special Prosecutions and Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division. Since that time, the majority of his practice is devoted to plaintiff's personal injury, product liability, commercial and complex civil litigation, and white collar criminal defense, in the New Jersey and New York state and federal courts.
Mr. Jacobs has been selected in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 for inclusion in New Jersey Monthly's Super Lawyers Section, "Top Lawyers in New Jersey." He has been selected for membership in The Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers" in the areas of Civil Trial Practice, Personal Injury, Criminal Trial Practice and Product Liability Law.
Mr. Jacobs is President of the Rutgers College Class of 1968, a recipient of the Class of 1931 Prize, and selected for membership in the Society of Loyal Sons and Daughters of Rutgers College. He recently has served as President of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey YMHA-YWHA Camps, and is a member of the Eagle Scout Alumni Association Patriots' Path Council, BSA.
